My client is in the engineering sector and are heading for 100 years of trading, they have a friendly office culture and they consistently progress their staff through the team structures.  People grow and stay with the business and enjoy a good career.  We are now looking for a Team leader (team manager) to oversee the running of the sales support team daily. The team is made up of technical products specialists and customer service advisors who support the distributors, field sales teams and other internal teams.  

Day to day task:

  • Leading the Customer Service Team
  • Ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently
  • Oversee the raising of claims and queries
  • Update on the changing product data
  • Manage holiday requests and absence
  • Report in to the Head of department and keep them up to date with weekly activities and changes
  • Liaise and build rapport with key accounts/clients

Ideally the appointed candidate will have a background within sales and customer service within engineering or manufacturing and managed a team on a daily basis and have the aptitude for technical products
