Practice Accountant

Pyramid8 is supporting an Accountancy firm with the addition of a Practice Accountant.  This local, independent, owner ran firm is approaching 40 years in business.  Working from a converted barn, in the countryside north of Doncaster, they are a small team who work together supporting sole traders and small Limited companies with their accounts to ensure compliance with their financial obligations.

The role of Practice Accountant will involve:

Preparation of year end accounts from incomplete records and accounting software for sole traders, partnerships and small companies.

Preparation of VAT returns.

Preparation of quarterly and monthly management accounts.

Preparation of tax computations for sole traders and limited companies

Some bookkeeping

Knowledge of excel, Sage 50, Sage Accounting, Xero and QuickBooks.
