Landscape Maintenance Officer

Our client is a well-respected organisation who employ in excess of 1500 people across Yorkshire & Humber and as part of their facilities area they require a Grounds man/Landscape officer/Garden Maintenance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis and work Monday to Friday day time hours up to a maximum of 37 hours per week.  Ideally the candidates who apply will have some experience working in landscaping or agricultural grounds work, or gardening.   It is an advantage if candidates have a certificate for using a chainsaw, however it is not essential.   Included in this package is a great pension scheme to opt into and 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays.

This role will involve:

Work on the ground within gardens, woodland and fields

Pruning and trimming of trees

Shredding and chipping

General landscape ground maintenance

Lawn mowing

Using a mini digger
