Dispatch Operative

Pyramid8 have an exciting opportunity with a company based in Sherburn who specialise in Plant Machinery repair, installation and maintenance. Due to internal promotion, they are now looking for someone to join their dispatch team as a Dispatch Operative and work Monday to Friday overseeing the plant that is being sent to national and international locations.  This role requires a keen eye for detail as the plant will need checking for damage prior to dispatch, ensuring that all tickets and labels are correctly marked/highlighted and in the right positions on the machinery and all paperwork is ticketed correctly.

As a Dispatch Operative you will also:

• Carry out PDI checks and QC checks.
• Liaise closely with the sales team to ensure plant is modified or upgraded to customer specifications.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept in a tidy and organised state.
• Assist with installation works if required.
• Support with commissioning works es if required.
• General workshop tasks
• Be willing to join product training courses.
• Build relationships with the engineering team and service departments.

Previous Experience In/With:

• Strong customer service.
• Cross-discipline team working.
• Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations.
• An interest in mechanics or building machines would be an advantage.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday 08.30-5.00, 40 hours per week.
